What a gift for those of us who are software challenged.
I used WineBottler to create these stand-alone apps, and they will behave as though your Mac is running Win 7. I was not able to verify they work on other Macs, but supposedly they will. Please let me know how they work on your Mac. Please read all the information I included on that web page as some of it will help you a lot. I placed them on my web server and you can follow this link to download them: RegiStax 6.1.0.0 (Download File is 324 MB zipped).DeepSkyStacker 3.3.6 (Download File is 324 MB zipped).AutoStakkert 2.6.8 (Download File is 324 MB zipped).I tested them out on my MacBook Pro mid 2014 running High Sierra 10.13.3 and they all work well, and fast. You do not need to know anything about Wine, just double-click these stand-alone apps and they will open and run on your Mac. I bundled Wine within the apps so there is no need to install or run Wine separately. I have wrapped three (so far) Windows AP apps in Wine so that can be downloaded and copied directly into your Mac's Application folder then ran as though they were running in Windows.
