To my surprise, I found only a handful of StackOverflow posts, and they pointed me to partial solutions. So, I did what any of us would do and googled around looking for a guide to update my development environment, which runs on Mac (the macOS operating system, formerly known as OS X). A future version of pip will drop support for Python 2.7. Please upgrade your Python as Python 2.7 won 't be maintained after that date.
